Meet Halla

Halla Maher, a 13-year resident of Thousand Oaks, is married to a Los Angeles County Fire Battalion Chief, and they are proud parents of two boys.  Halla's expertise lies in driving business development for a healthcare agency, fostering growth, and cultivating community relationships. She is also a dedicated part-time contractor for a nonprofit organization, actively influencing legislation that impacts the state of California.

Recognizing the importance of local politics, Halla ran for Thousand Oaks City Council in 2022, demonstrating her commitment to the community.  As a board member of the Ventura County Taxpayers Association and an alternate on the Ventura County Republican Central Committee, she actively engages in shaping the political landscape.  Halla holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from San Diego State and a master's degree from the University of Southern California.
